Access to the VRS Employer BBS allows payroll officers to electronically transmit their monthly payrolls directly to VRS' reporting system. The advantages to using this BBS method are many:

- Allows for electronic reporting (monthly adjustments, member changes and new members).
- Alleviates the need to fill out and send paper forms to VRS.
