Protect Your Identity Online
As a member of VRS, you have access to your member information through myVRS. When accessing secure sites, such as myVRS, keep in mind these online security tips:
- Do not close your browser to log-out; always select “Log-Out.” In myVRS, this is in the top right area of the page.
- Never send personal or confidential information through e-mail, even when you are logged into your online myVRS account. VRS will send only non-confidential replies.
- Avoid using the same password for myVRS that you use to access other secure systems, such as your online bank account.
- Change your passwords regularly.
- Store printed copies of your online account securely.
- Never use publicly shared computers to access secure systems.
