VRS Basic Group Life Insurance provides the following benefits:
- Natural death benefit, which is your annual compensation rounded to the next highest thousand, then doubled;
- Accidental death benefit, which is your natural death benefit doubled;
- Dismemberment benefit for accidental loss of one or more limbs or loss of sight in one or both eyes;
- Accelerated death benefit for a terminal medical condition;
- Safety belt benefit;
- Repatriation benefit;
- Felonious assault benefits.
