Receiving Your Benefit
Your retirement benefit is deposited on the first day of each month directly to an account you designate. If the first of the month falls on a holiday or weekend, your benefit is deposited on the last business day before the first of the month.
Direct deposit is a convenient, safe method that ensures your funds are always available. If you receive your check by mail and want to change to direct deposit or you wish to change your deposit instructions, complete an Authorization of Direct Deposit (VRS-57). Attach a voided check to the form, and mail it to VRS.
