Long-Term Care Program Moves to VRS
Effective November 1, 2008, VRS assumed administration of the Commonwealth of Virginia Long-Term Care Program from the Department of Human Resource Management (DHRM). The Aetna Life Insurance Company continues as the carrier for the program.
This voluntary long-term care insurance program is available to eligible employees, vested deferred members, retirees and their spouses, parents and parents-in-law. You or your loved one pays the premiums for the amount of coverage desired.
