2007 MBPs Arriving Soon

The 2007 Member Benefit Profiles (MBPs) will be shipped to you at the end of September to distribute to your employees. The MBP is your employees' annual personalized benefit statement. The 2007 statement is based on service credit and salary information you reported to VRS as of June 30, 2007.

Encourage your employees to review their MBPs carefully and report any discrepancies to you as soon as possible. Use the Request for Review of Membership Records (VRS-70) 71kb to report changes to VRS.

Employees who no longer work for a VRS-covered employer but will be eligible for a refund or a retirement benefit in the future received their MBPs in August.

MBPs Available through myVRS

Your employees can download and print a copy of their MBP from myVRS when it is available in September. This secure online system is available to both active and deferred members. Through myVRS, they can view their current service, contributions and other member information, and use their member data to create different benefit estimates and retirement scenarios.

The 2007 statements will be loaded into your employees’ myVRS member online accounts at the same time they are shipped to you. Employees who have not created their online accounts can can register any time by going to myVRS and clicking the "Register Now" button.
