Driving Directions to Parking Garage

From the North or South via Interstate 95

From I-95, take exit 74A onto 195 (toll road). Take the Canal Street exit and pay toll. Turn right onto South 10th Street. Turn right at the light onto East Cary Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the left toward the end of the block diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. (If you arrive at 12th Street, you have gone too far.)

From the East via Interstate 64 West

From I-64 West, take exit 190 merging onto I-95 south. From I-95 South, take exit 74A onto I-195 (toll road). Take the Canal Street exit and pay toll. Turn right onto South 10th Street. Turn right at the light onto East Cary Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the left toward the end of the block diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. (If you arrive at 12th Street, you have gone too far.)

From the West via Interstate 64 East

From I-64 East, get onto I-95 South. From I-95 South, take exit 74A onto 195 (toll road). Take the Canal Street exit and pay toll. Turn right onto South 10th Street. Turn right at the light onto East Cary Street. The entrance to the parking garage is on the left toward the end of the block diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. Driving Directions from VRS' Administrative Offices at 1200 East Main Street

From 1200 East Main Street, head west to South 10th Street and turn left. Turn left at the light onto East Cary Street. Turn left into the parking garage on East Cary Street, located on the left toward the end of the block diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. (If you arrive at 12th Street, you have gone too far.)

Parking Instructions

Turn left into the parking garage on East Cary Street, located on the left toward the end of the block between 10th and 12th Streets diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. Take ticket and head to Visitor Parking on Level 1. From Level 1, take the elevator to the Plaza on the 4th floor. Proceed to the Security Desk for directions to the VRS Retirement Counseling Center.

Walking Directions from 1200 East Main Street to the VRS Retirement Counseling Center

Heading west on East Main Street, cross South 12th Street and then cross to the other side of East Main Street. The VRS Retirement Counseling Center is located on the left about halfway up the block. (If you arrive at CVS Pharmacy, you have gone too far.)

A parking garage is available on the left side of East Cary Street toward the end of the block between 10th and 12th streets, diagonally across from the Starbucks at the Omni Hotel. (If you arrive at 12th Street, you have gone too far.)

The cost is $3 per hour. The first hour is free to VRS customers. The VRS security guard will give you a validation ticket at the conclusion of your counseling session.

Metered street parking also is available on East Main Street between 10th and 12th Streets.

VRS counseling is available from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
