Your 2010 Online Benefit Statement is Here

Your Member Benefit Profile (MBP) for 2010 is now available through the secure myVRS online system. The MBP is your annual benefits statement based on information your employer reported to the Virginia Retirement System (VRS) as of June 30, 2010.

Accessing Your MBP

Log-in to myVRS. From your Account Home page, select the Member Benefit Profile (MBP) link from the left column. From your MBP list, select your 2010 statement to view and print your statement. Not registered? Register Now.

Are You Eligible to Participate in the 457 Plan?

MBPs for state employees (excluding public college and university faculty members) and school and political subdivision employees whose employers have elected the Commonwealth of Virginia 457 Deferred Compensation and Virginia Cash Match Plans include a new “income analysis” feature. This feature provides a future retirement income estimate based on a target of 80 percent of your pre-retirement income based on your compensation as of June 30, 2010. The 80 percent target is often used by financial planners as a benchmark for maintaining a reasonable standard of living in retirement. Your estimated retirement income includes your estimated future VRS benefit, Social Security and any funds available for distribution from your Deferred Compensation Plan.
