As a retired member of VRS, you may be eligible for the following insurance programs:
- Basic Group Life Insurance
- Health Insurance Credit
- Health Insurance Benefit For State Retirees
- Optional Group Life Insurance Benefit
- Virginia Voluntary Long Term Care Program
- VSDP Long-Term Care Plan (State Employees)
If you retire from VRS as a state employee covered under the Virginia Sickness and Disability Program (VSDP), you also may be eligible to continue your long-term care coverage under VSDP. For more information, see VSDP Long-Term Care Plan.
